USask retirees honoured at awards event

The University of Saskatchewan Retirees Association (USRA) celebrated the accomplishments of nine colleagues during a ceremony

The University of Saskatchewan Retirees Association (USRA) was proud to host its annual Members and Awards Celebration earlier this summer to thank its members, mark the past year of USRA activities and initiatives, and celebrate the accomplishments of nine outstanding colleagues.

The USRA was delighted to honour the following recipients:

  • Eileen Harvey (Nurs'60, BSHEC'80), Honorary Life Award
  • Bruce Coulman (BSA'71, MSc'73), Prime of Life Achievement Award
  • Ernie Olfert (BA'65, DVM'69, MSc'76), Duff Spafford Award for Exceptional Service

These awards proudly recognize USask retirees who have continued to contribute to their discipline, to the university and/or to the wider community after retirement.
