Jessica Pawlik Named to 2025 FISU World University Games Medical Staff

Friday morning (Dec. 6) U SPORTS announced the eight personnel who will make up the medical staff for the 2025 FISU World University Games in Torino, Italy in the new year. Among those announced was Huskie Athletics and Huskie Health's very own Jessica Pawlik (BSP'03), who will serve as a multi-sport therapist as part of the core medical staff.

"I am thrilled to support our U SPORT athletes and coaches as they compete on the international stage and am proud to represent the University of Saskatchewan as member of the Canadian Medical Team," said Pawlik. 

Pawlik currently serves as the head physiotherapist with Huskie Health, working with the Huskie women's hockey, wrestling, and track & field programs. She has been a member of Huskie Health and Huskie Athletics since 2018 and prior to that served as a student trainer and team therapist from 2002 to 2010. 

During the 2025 FISU games, she will be stationed in Bardonecchia, Italy and will be primarily working athletes competing on the alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, freeski, and snowboard teams representing Canada. 

The games will run from January 13-23, 2025.
